Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 (Catering)
Is intended to provide food handlers with an understanding of the importance of food safety and hygiene standards at work.
On completion of training the learner will understand:
- The application of food saftey and hygiene standards.
- Food handlers responsibilities.
- Effects of food borne ilnesses.
- Implementing a HACCP based food safety management system.
- How to prevent food contamination.
- Safe food storage and temperature control.
- How food is contaminated.
