Is intended to provide retailers with an understanding of food safety and hygiene standards at work.
On completion of training the learner will understand:
- Types of food contamination.
- Correct storage and temperature of displayed food at point of sale.
- How to prevent food contamination occuring.
- Food pests and pest control.
- The effects of food Borne illness.
- Safe handling of food at point of sale.
